Hypnotherapy
Experience the transformative benefits of hypnotherapy, tailored to your unique needs and unlock your full potential.
Hypnosis works by accessing your subconscious mind the place where all your memories, habits, beliefs and experiences are stored. Within it, there may be patterns of thought and behaviour that no longer serve you. These patterns can be deeply ingrained, making them difficult to change through conscious effort alone.
Hypnotherapy allows us to communicate directly with your subconscious, offering positive, empowering suggestions that replace unhelpful patterns with new, supportive ones.
My Training: I was trained by Britain’s No.1 Hypnotherapist, Paul McKenna.
What to Expect:
During a session, I’ll guide you into a natural state of trance the same kind you drift into while daydreaming or watching TV. It’s safe, relaxing and completely natural. You’re always aware, always in control and never asked to do anything you don’t want to do.
Contrary to stage hypnosis myths, no one can control your mind. Even on stage, participants are simply more open to suggestions. In hypnotherapy, you can easily bring yourself out of trance at any point just like coming out of a daydream.
Why It Works:
In this calm, focused state, the “monkey mind” quietens and your subconscious becomes more receptive. This allows us to reprogram negative thought patterns, replacing them with positive beliefs, habits and emotional responses helping you create lasting, meaningful change.
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
CBT is a practical, evidence-based approach that helps you make sense of challenges by breaking them down into manageable parts. Together, we explore five interconnected areas: situations, thoughts, emotions, physical sensations and actions.
These elements constantly influence one another. For example, the way you interpret a situation can trigger certain emotions and physical responses, which in turn shape how you behave. In CBT, we work on the principle that a thought always comes before a feeling and that feeling drives your actions.
When unhelpful thoughts or distorted perceptions take over, they can lead to patterns that hold you back. CBT helps identify these patterns, challenge them and replace them with healthier, more balanced perspectives.
One powerful technique we use is Cognitive Restructuring where we challenge unhelpful thoughts, explore alternative perspectives and reframe the way you see situations. This shift in thinking opens the door to more positive emotions, constructive actions and a greater sense of control over your life.
With CBT, you’re not just learning to cope you’re actively changing the way you think, feel and respond, so you can live more in line with how you truly want to be.
Neuro- Linguistic Programming (NLP)
NLP is a powerful approach that transforms the way you think, communicate, and achieve your goals. It’s based on the connection between your mind (neuro), the language you use (linguistic) and how this shapes your behaviour and outcomes (programming).
With NLP, you can rewire limiting beliefs, boost confidence and develop a success-focused mindset that empowers every area of your life. These techniques help you break free from unhelpful patterns and replace them with strategies that align with your goals and values.
You’ll also learn to communicate more effectively both with yourself and others building stronger relationships, understanding different perspectives and resolving conflicts with ease.
NLP can accelerate your personal growth journey through powerful tools such as goal setting, visualisation, anchoring and reframing. These methods don’t just help you imagine a better future they equip you to create it, turning your vision into reality.
Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT)
Often referred to as tapping, EFT is a transformative method that combines the principles of psychology and acupressure to relieve emotional distress and physical tension.
It’s a practical, highly effective technique you can use anytime offering instant relief from anxiety, stress and overwhelming emotions.
How It Works:
EFT involves gently tapping on specific meridian points on the body the same points used in traditional Chinese medicine to restore energy flow and balance. While tapping, you focus on the identified emotional issue. This process helps release pent-up emotions and brings about a rapid sense of calm and clarity.
Key Benefits:
-
Anxiety Reduction: Quickly ease the mental and physical symptoms of anxiety.
-
Stress Management: Reduce tension and restore a sense of control in challenging moments.
-
Emotional Wellbeing: Process emotional challenges and support healing in both mind and body.
EFT is more than just a coping tool it’s a way to re-centre yourself in the moment, release what’s weighing you down and create the mental space to move forward with clarity and confidence.
Integral Eye Movement Therapy (IEMT)
Negative memories can shape the way we see ourselves, others and the world sometimes keeping us stuck for years. IEMT works by targeting the memory imprints at the root of difficult emotions, helping you release their impact and create lasting change.
Rather than focusing on the emotion alone, IEMT uses guided eye movements in specific rhythmic sequences to alter how the memory is stored in your mind. The memory remains, but the emotional charge attached to it shifts, often bringing an immediate sense of relief.
This approach can bring a profound sense of freedom from the weight of past trauma and the self-limiting beliefs it creates. It also works on self-identity helping you understand how past experiences influence where you are today and giving you clarity, focus and a quieter mind.
Key Benefits:
-
Release the emotional burden of past events
-
Reduce self-limiting beliefs linked to past trauma
-
Improve decision-making, goal setting and emotional clarity
IEMT can open the door to a brighter, calmer future where the past no longer dictates your present or limits your potential.
Internal Family Systems (IFS) Therapy
IFS is a powerful, evidence-based approach that helps you understand and integrate the different “parts” of your inner world the thoughts, emotions and experiences that together shape who you are.
Rather than seeing yourself as a single, fixed identity, IFS recognises that we each have a variety of inner parts, each with its own role, history, and influence. Some parts protect us, others hold past pain and others drive our ambition and growth. IFS therapy helps you bring these parts into harmony, creating a sense of inner clarity, balance and peace.
The Transformative Benefits of IFS Therapy:
-
Self-Awareness: Gain deep insight into the different aspects of your personality and how they influence your thoughts, emotions and behaviours.
-
Emotional Healing: Resolve internal conflicts and release emotional burdens by restoring harmony among your parts.
-
Self-Compassion: Develop a kinder, more accepting relationship with yourself, which becomes the foundation for personal growth and fulfilment.
IFS is both gentle and deeply transformative helping you move forward with a stronger sense of self, greater emotional resilience and the confidence to create the life you want.
Timeline Therapy & Inner Child Work
Your past experiences especially those from childhood can shape how you think, feel and act today. These two powerful techniques invite you to journey into your past, heal emotional wounds and create the self-compassion and resilience needed to move forward with freedom.
Revisiting Your Life’s Timeline
Your life story is made up of key events that have shaped who you are. Timeline therapy helps you explore and reframe these moments, giving you fresh perspectives and the ability to release emotional burdens you may have carried for years.
Together, we will:
-
Explore impactful events from your past, both positive and challenging.
-
Gain new insights that shift limiting beliefs and emotional patterns.
-
Release the weight of past experiences so you can feel lighter and more empowered in the present.
Nurturing Your Inner Child
Your inner child holds the emotional imprints of your earliest experiences. Inner child work helps you reconnect with this part of yourself offering the love, care and understanding it needed but may not have received. This process allows you to:
-
Reconnect with your most authentic, vulnerable self.
-
Heal and nurture past wounds through compassion and understanding.
-
Grow emotionally, increasing your capacity for self-love, self-acceptance and joy.
Both techniques offer a safe, compassionate space to address the past, freeing you to create a future with greater clarity, confidence and emotional balance.
Mindfulness & Somatic Therapy
Mindfulness practices and somatic therapy techniques are powerful pathways to greater presence, balance and wellbeing. By focusing on the mind–body connection, these approaches help you manage stress, reduce anxiety and feel more grounded in both your personal and professional life.
Mindfulness
Mindfulness is the practice of being fully present in the moment, without judgement. It’s about tuning into your thoughts, emotions and sensations with openness and acceptance, rather than reacting automatically. This can include meditation, deep breathing and simple daily awareness practices that bring clarity, calm and focus into your everyday life.
Somatic Therapy
Somatic therapy works directly with the body to address the physical effects of emotional and psychological experiences. Stress, anxiety and unresolved emotions can often be stored in the body as tension or discomfort. By gently exploring physical sensations and using techniques to release these patterns, somatic therapy promotes deep relaxation, emotional release and a renewed sense of balance.
Together, mindfulness and somatic therapy help you reconnect with yourself, improve resilience and create a state of harmony where both your mind and body can thrive.
